The gentle move from informal lessons to formal while continuing the habits of imagination, creativity, and self discipline.

Learning is its own reward

With the goal to become independent thinkers and problem-solvers, lessons are kept short, living books and stories are utilized, first oral and then written narration is modeled, and engagement and ownership is encouraged.

Subjects in Elementary include art, citizenship, geography, grammar, handwork, handwriting, history, math, music, narration, nature, poetry, science, spelling, and writing.

Lessons are kept to 20 minutes with a rhythm of alternating activities to promote balance and well being.
