Kindergarten to 2nd Grade

The Young Child

In the tradition of Waldorf and Charlotte Mason, kindergarten at Growing Roots is a time of wonder where children explore beautiful art and music, play outdoors in order to explore nature, listen to stories, and learn poetry and songs. Developing the habits of attention, imagination, good attitude, self-control, responsibility, quality work, courage, and service creates a solid foundation for more formal lessons the following year.
